Raise money for your favorite charity each time you search

GoodSearch is a Yahoo! powered search engine that will donate about $0.01 to a charity of your choosing each and every time you search. It’s quite likely that your charity of choice is already involved - and GoodSearch will set a cookie so that you only have to tell them once. A big thanks to those amazing people at the Progeria Research Foundation for turning us onto GoodSearch.
While we probably aren’t going to stop using Google, maybe what we will do is start tithing our searches?

Check out this agonizing assortment of tooth-tingling torture devices - Yeow! Some of the old favorites are painfully present, such as the Iron Maiden, and a couple variations of The Stocks but what’s catching us (and its easy to miss) is the three foot golf tee looking gadget (gouge-it?) Often times its the simple pointy things in life that make a palatial imagination run wild away.

A disappointing day of news if you’re a fan of (and yes, you should be) of our favorite nerdy girl, Sarah Silverman - it was announced officially that her always out-there television show, The Sarah Silverman Program would not be returning for a fourth season on Comedy Central. Well, Comedy Central, we hope you walk too close to the edge of a big cliff and die. It’s bad enough that the funniest people of our time only have a couple of places to turn to reach a wide audience, but it’s even worse that you’re one of them!

Young Star Gets the Boot (Not About Hollywood!)
Tuesday, May 11th, 2010Researchers using the Hubble telescope have spotted a literal shooting star. The adolescent star, which has been blasted out of its nebular nursery, is estimated to be traveling at 400,000 KM/h - which is fast enough to get you to the moon and back in about two hours. The young star could not be reached for comment, but it apparently left a note saying it had set out to ‘find itself.’

Unexplained Flying Objects During NASA Mission
Friday, May 7th, 2010Here’s an intriguing video that’s been racking up views on YouTube - it documents the snapping of an electrodynamic satellite tether, which was caused by an electrical surge from the kinetic energy created by the tether! This isn’t even the strange part - as the astronauts track the escaped satellite dozens of strange objects appear and start swarming in all directions.
While NASA, and other “experts” have dismissed the objects as debris their apparently strange movements have not convinced UFO / Alien hunters from claiming a conspiracy! Now that you’ve seen it what do you think?
